The 18,723 square-foot Paramont Applied Technology & Workforce Center was delivered as a design-build project, providing a new, purpose-built space for the welding and diesel programs at Virginia Highlands Community College. The facility was thoughtfully designed to support hands-on learning with specialized labs, high-bay training areas, and flexible instructional spaces tailored to the needs of technical education. Through a design-build approach, the project team was able to streamline coordination, enhance efficiency, and deliver a high-quality environment that prepares students for careers in skilled trades.
